Picture Gallery

Here’s a gallery of the pictures that I’ve used as the blog header. Nothing at all to do with SCORM … I just like to look at pictures of scenery and wildlife when I’m working on the blog!

Friday, September 2, 2011 – Lenticular clouds over mountains in SE Alaska.

Sunday, August 22, 2010 – Boulder River, Snohomish County, WA.

Monday, July 19, 2010 – Phantom Ship – a small island in Crater Lake (Oregon). This is a natural rock formation which derives its name from its resemblance to a ghost ship, especially in foggy and low-light conditions.

Friday, July 09, 2010 – Mount Baker, also known as Koma Kulshan or simply Kulshan, is an active stratovolcano in the North Cascades of Washington State.

Sunday, July 04, 2010 – Today’s picture shows the Badlands of South Dakota – carved from deep alluvial and volcanic ash deposits by the action of wind, and water falling in infrequent – but torrential – downpours.

Friday, July 02, 2010 – Today’s picture shows concrete hulks – ships built of wood, steel and concrete during the first and second world wars – used to create a breakwater at Powell River on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia.
